Amanda was raised in Waukesha, WI.  Following undergrad at UWM and law school in New York, Amanda and her husband Andy returned to Wisconsin.  When they were looking for a community with excellent schools and plenty of outdoor activities for their growing family, Brookfield was the obvious choice.

Amanda is a lawyer focused on technology contracts, and works remotely for a global software company.  Andy is an electrical engineer at Milwaukee Tool.  Their three children attend Elmbrook Public Schools and enjoy frequent bike rides and hikes on Brookfield’s park trails. Amanda and Andy both enjoy volunteering and being involved in their kids’ various sports and activities.

Having benefited from the support of community members as a young person, giving back is something Amanda feels driven to do. She leads the legal pro bono committee at her company.  Her favorite pro bono project was with Swords to Plowshares, an organization supporting veterans.  Amanda has also served in several roles at Plymouth United Church of Christ in Milwaukee, including chair of the board of stewards, vice chair of the church council and Sunday School teacher.  Amanda looks forward to the opportunity to serve the people of Brookfield as Alderman of District 5.
